Data Scientist Fraude

Use your knowledge as a Data Scientist at NN and contribute to the implementation of the fraud risk model across various business units and brands within NN. We are looking for a data scientist with at least 2 years of experience.

What you are going to do

Together, we work on state-of-the-art solutions in Python and in the (Azure) cloud. In your work, you will experience a lot of freedom and responsibility, which ensures that you continue to grow. You will help build and implement a fraud risk model across various business units and brands within NN Schade & Inkomen. As a Data Scientist, you are responsible for building and maintaining machine learning models and API solutions. The program ensures the implementation of a fraud risk model within all business lines for Claims. You do this in a project team that falls under the Anti-Fraud department.

You will join our active Data Science Guild where all data scientists at NN come together and share specialist knowledge. This way, we work very efficiently on scalable solutions. Our guild’s ambition is to become the best in AI. The guild organizes hackathons to explore the latest techniques and see if they are applicable to your projects. Every month, we meet digitally in our innovation lunch to share projects, and we see each other every other month at the office for a guild event.

Who you are

You love achieving results quickly and perform well under time pressure. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. You also take the time to involve your colleagues in your steps and explain things to them. Your open attitude and strong communication skills greatly help with this. Furthermore, you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Econometrics, IT, Data Science, or a study with a strong Data Science component, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in developing ML applications in Python
• Experience with (Azure) CI/CD tools and Azure DevOps
• Tool stack: Experience with SQL, Git, Python
• Practical knowledge of data collection, cleaning, model evaluation, and model implementation
• Affinity with Cloud engineering (Azure) and (Flask) APIs

Who you will work with

You will work with other data scientists in a cross-disciplinary team where data specialists and business specialists come together. On office days, you will be located in the Anti-Fraud department, giving you a tangible idea of the impact of the fraud risk model’s results.
