We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) to drive cultural change, align EDI initiatives with organizational goals, and collaborate across the organization. Reporting to the Head of People Europe, you will embed EDI principles into policies and programs while leading impactful projects and employee engagement efforts.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) to drive cultural change, align EDI initiatives with organizational goals, and collaborate across the organization. Reporting to the Head of People Europe, you will embed EDI principles into policies and programs while leading impactful projects and employee engagement efforts.

In addition to your EDI responsibilities, you will dedicate roughly half of your time to leading IMC’s charity initiatives. As a member of the IMC Charitable Foundation board, you will build partnerships with nonprofit organizations and coordinate employee volunteering and giving programs. You will also ensure employees are informed and engaged by sharing the impact of IMC’s charitable efforts through regular updates and the annual report.

Your Core Responsibilities:

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI):

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive EDI strategy in collaboration with the Head of the People Function, aligning with the Board’s EDI statement, and serving as a subject matter expert to advise leadership on EDI-related issues and trends.
  • Establish and refine People Policies, practices, and frameworks to promote equity and inclusivity, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Foster a culture of inclusion by designing and implementing programs that promote belonging, and lead initiatives such as workshops, training, and events to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and improvement, while strengthening talent pipelines through relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Set benchmarks, analyze data, and track progress against EDI objectives, providing regular updates on impact and outcomes.

Charity & Community Impact:

  • Drive IMC’s charitable initiatives.
  • Be a member of the IMC Charitable Foundation board.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with nonprofit organizations.
  • Coordinate employee volunteering and charitable giving programs.
  • Communicate with employees about the impact of IMC’s grants and volunteering in our annual report, in regular posts in our intranet and other means of communication. 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Sociology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EDI, ESG, or similar roles with a strong commitment to inclusion and social impact.
  • Deep knowledge of EDI principles, practices, and current trends.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change and influence senior leadership.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience in planning successful events or programs.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to identify gaps and measure outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Versatility and readiness to toggle between strategic planning and hands-on implementation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
