
Senior Segment Marketer | Mortgages
ING is looking for an experienced Segment Marketer who can translate the wishes and needs of our target groups into propositions, sales opportunities and product improvements.
The Dutch housing market is always in motion. Whether it concerns a housing shortage, the sustainable housing transition or the recent increase in interest rates, ING always tries to make an impact for potential and existing customers. We are looking for an experienced segment marketer with good knowledge of the Dutch housing market and its customer segments. Someone who examines their potential, their needs and the customer journey, who validates assumptions and can translate customer insights into new opportunities and propositions. Experience with service and experiment design is an advantage.
The department
In our (tribe) ING Living department, we are working to become the best mobile-led, sustainable mortgage bank in the Netherlands. To realize this ambition, we are looking for an experienced segment marketer (customer journey expert). Do you have an affinity with analyzing the mortgage market? ING Wonen is one of the largest tribes within ING Retail, with 60 agile teams (squads) mainly located in Amsterdam. The tribe includes all products and processes involved in starting, concluding and maintaining a mortgage with ING. With 600,000+ customers, we are one of the largest mortgage providers in the country.
The team
Your team consists of highly experienced marketing and business-to-IT experts and focuses on the overall marketing strategy and positioning of ING mortgages, both for our own sales channels and for the intermediary. You conduct customer research, market and competitor analyzes and translate the results into new propositions and product improvements. Your team is also responsible for a large part of our commercial campaigns. Internally you work together with other departments, such as Communications & Branding, Risk and all kinds of stakeholders throughout the mortgage chain. Externally you work with media and research agencies, among others.

About you
You have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree and relevant experience as a marketer, consultant, product manager or customer journey expert
- Knowledge of the Dutch housing & mortgage market
- Understanding customer needs and challenges
- A commercial attitude and drive to make an impact
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data and facts
- Experience with stakeholder management in large organizations; you have excellent communication and collaboration skills and know how to deal well with different interests and stakeholders
- Excellent language skills in both Dutch and English
